Brazilian Tasting Championship
🥂 Inspired by the renowned format of the World Tasting Championship, the Brazilian Wine Tasting Championship emerges as the country’s largest and most challenging sensory competition.
Conceived by three members of the Brazilian Team that represents the country at the World Championship, this project is driven by a clear mission: to promote technical excellence, elevate national talent, and broaden access to high-level tasting competitions.
The concept is simple—but demanding!
🍷 Each participant will face 12 wines served blind, including still, sparkling, and fortified wines. In a controlled environment, precision and sensitivity will be put to the test, with just 10 minutes allocated per wine. Correctly identifying the grape or blend, country of origin, region, and vintage will be the key differentiators for those aiming for the podium.
Unlike the traditional team format of the world championship, the Brazilian edition will be an individual competition featuring 100 tasters. As part of our commitment to inclusion and representation, 5 spots will be reserved for affirmative actions focused on increasing diversity in the wine world.
📍 The first edition will take place on September 27, 2025, in São Paulo (SP), marking the beginning of a new era for talent development and the strengthening of technical tasting culture in Brazil.
